At Fehring elementary school, and even more so outside of the school building, little Herbert Bauer was known as a "bad boy." Only in the "sacred rooms" of the former pharmacy in Fehring, which he considered "sacred," was Herbert exceptionally well-behaved. His mother was a pharmacy assistant there and also the cook for the daily lunch. Herbert was allowed to eat with them and was immediately captivated by the spicy smells and spirits. Then the Bauer family moved to Kornberg/Bergl. Herbert attended the 4th grade of elementary school in Riegersburg and was immediately taken with the then school principal, Frosch. He managed to become a different person. Except for religion, he received all A's on his final report card. Thanks to the daily banana, a magnesium bomb, Herbert also completed secondary school with great success.

Silvia Schneider visits Bauers Bitter Kräuterdomizil

Bitter is the new sweet. Bauer's Bitter Drops are currently conquering the German-speaking world and are currently available in over 1,000 stores in Austria.

Herbalist Silvia Schneider is enthusiastic about Sabine and Herbert Bauer 's idea of focusing on bitter substances, which are essential for our bodies . "The stomach, intestines, and liver—in fact, all organs—need bitter substances to function properly," says Sabine Bauer.
Bauer has been a Shiatsu practitioner for almost 20 years and works in the TCM field , in which herbs and roots are attributed great effects.

For the handmade and homemade bitter drops, most of the herbs and roots come from the region , such as ginger and turmeric from Reitzer's vegetable farm in Styria and the starter grain from Stubenberg am See.
You can see and learn more about the natural products lovingly handcrafted in Styria on May 31st at 2 p.m. on ORF 2 in the program “Silvia kocht.”
Afterwards, you can watch the program in the ORFthek.

Sabine Bauer's journey through bitter herbal drops

Sometime and somewhere, "lucky people" find their right path. The charming Sabine from the Weiz region was always open-minded in life and felt a passion for natural medicine and for people in their entirety. A horse lover, Sabine galloped over the bridges of real and shameful "money worlds" into the fantastic "land of humanity"... into her spiritual homeland of energetics, shiatsu, and so on. Herbert Bauer, a Feldbach judoka and real estate professional, was a "Wurzel Sepp fan" in southeast Styria, and at the same time started a second job selling oils and organic creams. This is how Sabine from Weiz and Herbert from Feldbach met. A very special stroke of luck. The wedding and life in Weiz further intensified their happiness, togetherness, and the desire for "bitter herbal drops." Thoughts about the highly healthy bitter substances raced through the ceiling. Then, in the wake of the lockdown, the miracle potion was finally ready in "Bauer's Witch's Kitchen." Now, "Bauer's Herbal Drops" are even available in all pharmacies. This requires an incredible amount of serious effort for one's health. Sabine has made her way through life...
